At Safe2Drive Driving School (Surrey, BC), we understand that schedules can change and unexpected situations may arise. Our goal is to ensure fairness to all students and instructors while maintaining efficient scheduling and high-quality service.

Lesson Cancellations and No-Show Policy

• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for any lesson cancellation or rescheduling.
• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged a $20 late cancellation fee.
• If a student fails to show up for a scheduled lesson without notice, the full lesson fee will be charged.
• This policy allows us to offer your time slot to another student and ensures fairness to both instructors and learners.

Refund and Withdrawal Policy

• Students may withdraw from a course or lesson package by providing written notice (email or text).
• Refunds requested before lessons begin will be issued for the full amount minus a $25 administrative fee.
• If lessons have already started, a pro-rated refund will be provided for the unused lessons based on the package rate, minus the $25 administrative fee.
• No refunds will be issued after 30 days from the purchase date.
• Refunds are only applicable to unused lessons. Lessons already completed are non-refundable.

Road Test Policy

• Students using a Safe2Drive vehicle for their ICBC road test must have completed at least one driving lesson with our school prior to test day.
• Road test appointments must be booked and confirmed at least 48 hours in advance with our instructor.
• A non-refundable $60 deposit is required to secure a road test vehicle booking.
• If a student cancels their road test booking with less than 24 hours’ notice, the full road test fee will be charged.

Lesson Details

• All lessons are one-on-one with a certified driving instructor.
• Lesson durations depend on the package chosen (as listed on our Packages page).
• Students are expected to arrive on time and bring a valid BC learner’s or driver’s licence to each lesson.
• Lessons begin and end at pre-arranged pickup/drop-off locations within our service area.

Rescheduling Due to Instructor Availability or Weather

In rare cases where Safe2Drive must reschedule a lesson due to instructor illness, vehicle maintenance, or hazardous weather conditions, students will be notified as soon as possible, and an alternative date/time will be arranged at no cost.
